Skills Challenge – Mastering Robotic Bronchoscopy

Skills Challenge

An interactive competitive experience running throughout the congress, where participants collect points by demonstrating theoretical knowledge, technical abilities, decision-making skills, and performance on robotic platforms.

Game structure
1. Badge

Each participant will receive two badges:
– one personalized name badge
– one badge featuring a personal QR code linked to a unique number, which will serve as the user ID.

The QR code will be used to record performances and scores.

2. Stands on and hands on

Each station will be equipped with:

– a QR code providing access to the game;
– for challenges with variable scores, a different QR code will be available for each score tier, depending on the performance achieved;
– a staff member responsible for supervising the game.

Theory Quiz Multiple-choice questions on anatomy, navigation, safety, complications.

Points will be awarded based on both the accuracy of the answer provided and the difficulty level of the question.

A clinical case of interest is identified and presented; at the end of the presentation, participants are engaged through a series of questions.

4. Official Rules & Scoring System

General Rules:

1. Each participant must register and receive a QR-coded badge.
2. Every challenge station has an official trainer/tutor who validates performance and
assigns points.
3. Scores are tracked through QR code scanning and updated in real time.
4. Participants can check their own score, but not their ranking, by accessing their
personal area and scanning their QR code.
5. The overall rankings can only be viewed during dedicated moments of the plenary
sessions throughout the day.
6.Stations must be completed individually; no pair or group activities are allowed.
7. Participants can join the game at any time during the congress.
